In 2013, with artist Leda Black, I founded and lead the Brookland Bombshells, a community yarnbombing group in the Brookland neighborhood of  Washington DC.  During the time I was at studio 15 of the Arts Walk we used to meet regularly and to knit and crochet together. Our aim was to create amazing works of yarn while enriching personal relationships and promoting participation in community life.
